Friday Fellowship at the Campbell's
We are having a fellowship this Friday. I think its supposed to be nice, Lord willing. We thought we would start volleyball at 4:30 for those that want to play. Otherwise, feel free to come at normal start time of 5:45. Steve, we have a volleyball net and poles so you don't need to bring yours. We thought about having a Mexican night for food unless there are some of you that hate Mexican:) Also please bring your instruments so we could have a time of singing later. We were going to invite the Hobbs too. Please feel free to forward to anyone we missed. We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing everyone!

SMITH FAMILY IN TOWN !!!
The Smith family will be up visiting this week, so we would like to have a fellowship while they are here. We (the Jack family ) would like to invite everyone over on Wednesday evening, the 21st. Come whenever you can, and we will plan on eating around 6:00. If the weather is nice, we could play some volleyball. If not, we have a new version of "Spoons" we could try ;). It would be fun to have a Soup and Salad night, so bring your favorite soup, salad and/or bread, and dessert if you'd like.

Sunday
I took some pictures at church last Sunday. Sort of a snapshot of how I church right now and the people I meet with, for future reference.
The Cambells' Great Pyrenes "Pyrie" is often the first to welcome me to their house.

We drink coffee first.

And hot tea.

After breaking bread, we eat brunch.

Jeff likes to talk while he's getting his food.

Waiting for the food line to get shorter.

Everyone fits around the table.

Studious people.

They were looking up names in the Bible Dictionary.

Getting ready to play some music.

Jeff shares from the Word.

With a handy pillow for a podium.

After worship and prayer and Bible study, we chill out.

The boys jump.

Pyrie joins me for a survey of the livestock.

A cow.

A goose. These things are noisy and nosy.

Rooster.
Another goose.
Geese.

The boys are still jumping.
The girls have changed into play clothes.

Playing with geese.

Parents want to play volleyball. Where to put the pole?
Josiah finds the ball.

The boys have moved to the swingset.

The girls are working hard...

Jeff surveys for volleyball locations.

Then starts digging.

And...we played volleyball. I didn't get pics of that. Sorry. Maybe next time.
